Hi Melissa, Your graphic is okay. I feel that you can do a better job though. One thing I like about your poem is the way you made the sad pictures of you and Jessie on the bottom faded to really emphasize the mood. However, one thing you can wrk on is that your graphic seems very plain and there is a lot of white space like it seems very empty. With your final you should really use the idea of putting in black and white pics of your friends since it relates to your poem of having to open up to people. One thing you can work on is when cropping your pictures and putting it in your graphic (like the pictures of you and Jessie), it sort of looks funny how your pictures cut off or ends and has a line. It sort of stands out. So you should fix it up on photoshop to make it look nicer. My suggestion to fixing that is to use less of the picture so when you put the picture on the graphic it doesn't show wear the picture ends. Other than that your graphic will be great.
As a draft your graphic is pretty okay, but I'm sure that with your photoshop skills your final will look great! I really enjoy a graphic where text is clear an easily readable. that's what your graphic has. It actually kinda looks like a cowgirl looking font. Though I agree it is quite plain, maybe try a different color other than white or add a background that matches the theme. On the top left corner it looks kinda funny with a sharp edge on the photo. You could soften the edges so it doesn't look so rough. Good luck on your final! I know it'll turn out great:D
Hi Mel, Looks like your teammates were able to give you good advice about your revision. I think their points about layout and Photoshop techniques are very helpful. When you include the photos of your friends, it would be better to include action shots, rather than mug shots or portraits because that would emphasize your relationships. mrs s
